[en] One day back elementary school we were supposed to learn about the switch. So the teacher dragged a heap of electronic material into the classroom. We each got our basic building blocks for the simple switch; a bunch of wires, a flat 4.5V battery, a 3V bulb, Bakelite sockets, push pins and paper clips. The teacher warned: 'Don't ever put wires into electric sockets.' But before she managed to finish that sentence the lights went out.
